What we did: Built a program to provide a decision-making and dialogue framework to help guide the college and major selection process.
Why we did it: We are executive recruiters first, and we have seen the downstream impact of college and major selection on career trajectories. Secondly, we are also parents. We know how this conversation can get stressful quickly.
What it is: A parallel series of communication for both the parents/investors and the student. There are action items for all parties leading up to the most informed and confident decision you can make. You get documents specifically created for the program and help you through your journey. We also support our members with live coaching calls each month to directly address any questions or issues you encounter.
We find it ironic that finance companies are eager to write you loans for a decision you haven’t even made yet, but it’s hard to find guidance in making the decision. So many times the college selection process is guided by emotion, marketing or aesthetics. We are looking to de-stress this process as much as possible, and instead of having the anxiety drive a wedge in the household, we are looking to foster collaboration and bring people together.
